HRI confirms Cancellation of Sprint Races at Naas on Sunday, 24th March
Naas Racecourse has announced the cancellation of the scheduled sprint races for Sunday, 24th March. The affected races, specifically Races 61A, 61B, and 61C, will not proceed due to the sprint course’s current condition. Recent heavy rainfall, coupled with ongoing winter repairs, has rendered parts of the track unsuitable for racing.
With the weather forecast remaining unpredictable for the upcoming week, the decision was made to prioritize the safety of all participants. The HRI will be introducing additional races on the round course to compensate for the cancellations. These substitute races will be confirmed later today, and entries will be accepted until 12 noon on Wednesday, 20th March.
