Description
Originally, the course hosted both flat racing and National Hunt races. However, in 2016, it transitioned to become exclusively a National Hunt course and also switched from a right-handed to a left-handed track. The current track is an undulating left-handed course of one mile and two furlongs.
Wexford Racecourse is known for its friendly atmosphere and is popular with both locals and visitors. The racing season typically runs from March to November, with the most popular meetings being the Friday evening fixtures during the summer months.
